  1. BUILT Foundations

    The AMY 16 boots

    The Godot project, the fictional 8-bit computer, and the CRT screen itself: phosphor glow, scanlines, and the working terminal.

  2. BUILT Connection

    Dial tone

    The modem and dial-up: DIAL and CONNECT commands, the handshake you can hear, and a first bulletin board system that answers.

  3. BUILT Language

    A language of your own

    Objective BASIC: a full lexer, parser, and tree-walking interpreter, with park-and-resume so programs can wait on the modem.

  4. BUILT Storage

    Files and tapes

    The in-game filesystem, the tape drive, and the notebook UI: the everyday tools the kid keeps reaching for.

  5. BUILT First contact

    Learning by dialling

    Onboarding with no tutorial: explore a BBS, claim a library account as your first real credential, and unravel the opening cipher quests.

  6. PLANNED The loop

    The economy wakes up

    BatDime mining, timed jobs, banking, and a heat system that notices, wired together into the casual-or-intense gameplay loop.

  7. PLANNED Polish

    Phosphor and sound

    CRT roll-bar, bloom, and chromatic aberration; the power-down tube whine, tape-load chatter, and music that tightens when things go bad.

  8. PLANNED The reveal

    Something larger

    The cold-war conspiracy arc and its three canonical endings: the cold thriller under the warm winter.

  9. PLANNED Release

    Boxing Day

    Signed, self-contained builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux. No runtime to install; just unwrap it and start dialling.
